LiveJournal for Windows Mobile, The First Release

This may be a very stupid question, but while I can see how many comments a given post has, I canlt figure out how to read those comments, either on my own posts or on my friends list. Is there a way to view the comments?

Re: LiveJournal for Windows Mobile, The First Release

+1

Also, I just installed the app on my Omnia and my friends page will not display. I'm going to uninstall/reinstall to see if that corrects it, but wanted to make you aware of the issue.

ETA: Reinstall did not correct the problem. My Mobile View filter loads correctly when accessed from m.livejournal.com.

Just downloaded LiveJournal For Windows Mobile from m.livejournal.com, and installed it on my HTC Maple S520. When I try to launch it fails with error:"NotSupportedException. I don't think it's too much to ask - to test your application before you make it available for users.

I've got the same error with my HTC Snap.

Installing the app for Windows Mobile

Ok I guess this app only works on Windows Mobile 6.. I have Windows Mobile 6.1 and is not letting me install it. It downloads on my device and then it tells me the installation was unsuccessful.

I have Windows Mobile 6.1 and it installed on my phone.

Does anyone find the font sizes on the new mobile website just about unreadable on their phone?

Yes, the font's extremely small on my screen. :(

I tried your mobile website on my Palm Pre and it worked ok, but the formatting (height & width) and the lack of line wrapping adjusted to my screen resolution (320x480) make it quite cumbersome to use!

(I figure iPhones and Android phones might have the same problem, they all use webkit)

I would love an app for Droid phones. :(

I would love an app for the droid as well. I don't care for the browser so I never update now. =/

Are you going to have an app for the Iphone?

From today's LJ News post:

We're pleased to announce that the new LiveJournal iPhone app is available for free in the Apple store! Be sure to download the application labeled "LiveJournal Inc." Our new app lets you:
Read your Friends page
Post to your journal or communities
Add and respond to comments
Read and reply to personal messages
Upload images
Access advanced setttings, like custom view options to speed load times

I would love to get an app for my Android Cliq. I hope one gets made.

when will there be an authentic livejournal for android app?

How about an app for blackberry??

(Deleted comment)
Yes, why no app for Droid? Or iphone, not that I care, but really, they are the two most popular phones now.

Please, make an app for iPhone! There are only two supporting apps, and they both suck! Seriously LJ, C'mon! There's an app for everything, but not for LJ!! D:

There is an iPhone app, called Livejournal Inc.

Blackberry Version?

Don't know if anyone has asked, but.. is there a version that works on Blackberries?? Please? :)

Just a FYI, and it's possible no one has told you guys yet, since LJ is pretty much dead, but your application for Windows Mobile, doesn't work.

Returns an unknown exception error when trying to launch.

Might as well take it down off the site, since it doesn't work.

While we're at it, are you geniuses aware that you have both version of the Windows Mobile application? The old one, clumsy to use & poorly laid out. As well as the new one, which can't even successfully launch.

Gee, I just can't figure out why hardly anyone uses this site anymore.
