I can attest (due to just trying it) that this theme also looks nice on the small mobile screen (tested it with my HTC myTouch 4G).

looks nice on samsung galaxy pad as well. Would like to see more themes for mobile devices.

am i right that i cant use different themes on different devices?

OT, but how did you add the ability to "+1" in your entry?

and is there a systemwide setting to insert this into each of our entries?

Thanks!

Re: Google+ for posts?

check the latest news post, there was an announcement of how to use it :)

Re: Google+ for posts?

thanks!

They look nice but when are you going to do the same for Android? Andriod is the fastest growing market, and there is a barebones Android smartphone app and no Tablet App.

かっこういい!
Thanks for sharing.

YAAAAAYYY!!! now please someone tell the android app team to work on making that more awesome and I set. ^__~ all the hard work very much appreciates!!

Looks fantastic, but icons seem to be always hidden despite clicking the "show icons" and selecting "yes". Is this a bug, or intentional (since we can see other graphics on the page)?

The implication, both here and on the style page, that this was a style that would apply *only* on the iPad. You can imagine how pleased I am to discover that the theme on my full LJ is now gone. Some warning would have been nice; the ability to set an iPad-specific theme without losing your full LJ theme would be even better.

I guess I don't get why we want this? We iPad users have an iPad app, AND can view our regular styles on the iPad browser, Safari.

Not attacking or anything, just confused - can anyone help explain why this would be a good idea to switch? Is it a better option than the LiveJournal app for the iPad? :)

Though it might be nice to use this style when viewing LJ with my iPad, I would like it to apply to iPad only, meaning I still would be able to use my normal style when using LJ with my desktop computer. The ability to choose separate styles for different devices would be the best option.

+1 (and my +1 is not a reference to G+, this is just a "yeah, what vierran45 said")

vierran45, your icon is fabulous!

same here. I wouldn't mind viewing that style on my Galaxy S (or any other clean style for that matter - because yes, I'm not fond of the Android app), but keep the pretty/pimped/heavily changed themelayer one on any other.

what point is there to switch styles for a mobile device, when that is by far not the only device I'm using to view LJ??

IMO we should be able to view m.livejournal.com just like the regular LJ, only with this (or any other user-chosen) style applied. then I'd have a clean GUI and full functionality. I know, wow, what a radical concept.

using it on a regular PC

so far so good

It'd also be nice to, you know. Have the app back in the app store?

As your Support form doesn't work on the iPhone, at least right now, I have to post this here.
How do I opt out? I prefer to see the full-site version on my iPhone but since today, I don't seem to be able to view entires in full-site view anymore, only the mobile view. I can't edit, I can't blow out photos, I can't see my layout, or my links to my reading filters. With all due respect to your development team, I do NOT want this enforced service as it makes it impossible for me to moderate communities successfully from my phone.

Ugh, this is happening to me too on my Touch. I tried to fill out the support form too.

I have always used the full version LJ on my iPod and today it won't let me switch back from the mobile one.

I logged out and can't log back in on the mobile version it just keeps refreshing the page. I'm getting really frustrated. Haha.
